Glaucoma, obstructive diseases of the lower urinary tract.

Special Precautions
May affect ability to drive or operate machinery. Monitor haematological and hepatic functions regularly during treatment. Avoid prolonged treatment.

Adverse Reactions
CNS depression, with effects varying from slight drowsiness to deep sleep, and including lassitude, dizziness and incoordination. Headache, psychomotor impairment, and antimuscarinic effects, such as dry mouth, thickened respiratory-tract secretions, blurred vision, urinary difficulty or retention, constipation and increased gastric reflux.
Potentially Fatal: Anaphylaxis. |
Drug Interactions
May enhance the sedative effects of CNS depressants e.g. alcohol. May mask warning signs of damage caused by ototoxic drugs e.g. aminoglycosides. May cause additive antimuscarinic action when used with other antimuscarinic drugs e.g. atropine.
